Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 ounces ground pork sausage (2 breakfast sausage rolls, like Jimmy Dean)
  • 12 Hawaiian buns (or other slider buns)
  • 8 large eggs, scrambled
  • 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • For the Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

Step 1:

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Step 2:

In a large skillet over medium heat, shape the sausage into 12 round patties, slightly larger than the buns. Cook them until fully done.

Step 3:

Slice your Hawaiian buns in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom halves in a 7×10 or 9×13 inch baking dish.

Step 4:

Spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom halves of the buns. Lay the pepper jack cheese on top of the eggs.

Step 5:

Add the sausage patties over the pepper jack layer, then top with American cheese slices.

Step 6:

Carefully place the top halves of the buns over the cheese-covered sliders.

Step 7:

In a small bowl, mix your melted butter and maple syrup. Brush this delicious glaze over the tops of the buns, letting it drip down the sides.

Step 8:

Bake the sliders for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 9:

Let them cool slightly before serving up this breakfast delight!
