Ingredients

  • For the Candy Coating:
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • White gel food coloring
  • Gel colors of your choice (neon pink, sky blue, etc.)
  • 2 tsp flavored oil (bubble gum, cotton candy, etc.)
  • For the Grapes:
  • 2025 grapes, washed and dried
  • Sprinkles for decorating (optional)

Instructions

Prep the Grapes

Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes, then carefully insert a skewer into each one.

Make the Candy Mixture

In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup. Heat over medium heat and watch the temperature using a candy thermometer.

Add Color and Flavor

Once the mixture hits 300°F, remove from heat. Stir in the flavored oil and white gel food coloring. Add a few drops of your preferred gel colors to achieve that galaxy swirl.

Dip and Decorate

Dip each skewered grape into the candy mixture, twirling to cover completely. Place coated grapes onto parchment paper to cool. Sprinkle with your choice of decorations if you desire extra sparkle!
