  • 1 can (15 ounces) corn, drained
  • 2 cups frozen tater tots

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2: Brown the Beef

In a skillet, brown 1 pound of ground beef over medium heat. Add 1 medium chopped onion and 2 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the beef is no longer pink.

Step 3: Prepare the Sauce

After browning, drain excess fat from the skillet. Stir in 1 can (10.75 ounces) of condensed cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup of sour cream, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and 1/4 cup of milk. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to combine.

Step 4: Layer the Casserole

In a casserole dish, layer the beef mixture evenly on the bottom. Next, sprinkle 1 can (15 ounces) of drained corn over the beef layer. Finally, add an even layer of 2 cups of frozen tater tots on top.

Place the casserole dish uncovered in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy, and the cheese is bubbling.
