Description

Get ready to tingle your taste buds with a zing! This Ginger Cranberry Punch Mocktail is the ultimate refreshing party drink everyone will love. Tangy, zesty, and packed with flavor, it’s the perfect vibrant drink for any get-together!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup ginger ale
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cranberry-Ginger Mixture

In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of fresh cranberries, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of water, and 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

Step 2: Simmer the Mixture

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes, or until the cranberries burst and release their juice.

Step 3: Extract the Juice

Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the mixture to cool. Once cooled, press the mixture through a sieve to extract the juice, discarding the solids left behind.

Step 4: Combine the Juices

In a large pitcher, pour in the cranberry-ginger syrup and add 2 cups of cranberry juice and 1 cup of orange juice. Stir well to combine all the flavors.

Step 5: Add the Ginger Ale

Just before serving, gently add 1 cup of ginger ale to the pitcher and stir carefully to keep the fizz.

Step 6: Serve and Garnish

Serve the punch in glasses filled with ice cubes. Garnish each glass with orange slices and fresh mint leaves for a vibrant finish.

Notes

Tip for Serving

Adjust the amount of ginger ale based on your preference for sweetness and fizziness.

Storage Advice

Store any leftover punch in the refrigerator, but it is best enjoyed fresh to retain the bubbles from the ginger ale.

Variation Suggestions

Feel free to experiment with adding other fruit juices or garnishes, such as pomegranate seeds or cucumber slices, for a unique twist!
