Step 1: Prepare the Cranberry-Ginger Mixture
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of fresh cranberries, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of water, and 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
