Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces of pasta of your choice
  • 1 pound of Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) of diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Sausage

In a large pot, over medium heat, add sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 2: Sauté the Vegetables

Add diced onion and bell pepper to the pot and sauté until the vegetables are softened, approximately 3-4 minutes.

Remove the pot from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.

Serve the cheesy sausage pasta warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
