The combination of kielbasa, pasta, and a rich creamy sauce makes for a dish that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • Kielbasa: 1 pound, sliced
  • Pasta: 12 ounces (your choice, such as penne or fusilli)
  • Onion: 1 medium, diced
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Chicken broth: 4 cups
  • Heavy cream: 1 cup
  • Parmesan cheese: 1 cup, grated
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Kielbasa

In a large pot or skillet, over medium heat, sauté sliced kielbasa until browned, about 3-5 minutes.

Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until the vegetables are softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 3: Add the Pasta

Stir in the uncooked pasta and pour in the broth. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Step 4: Simmer

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, about 10-12 minutes.

Step 5: Stir in Cream and Cheese

Remove the pot from heat and stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.

Step 6: Serve

Top with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired, then serve warm.
