Savory Mushroom Beef Casserole

  • 1 lb. Ground beef
  • 1 lb. Sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
  • 6 oz. Cream cheese, softened
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 2 tsp. Minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. Seasoning salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef, adding salt and pepper to taste. Once the beef is cooked, drain any excess fat and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat, and add the sliced mushrooms. Cook them until they become soft and tender.
  4. Combine the minced garlic, seasoning salt, chopped fresh parsley, and additional pepper to taste with the mushrooms. Stir and cook for a few more minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. In a food processor or blender, blend together the softened cream cheese and large eggs until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  6. Pour the creamy mixture over the cooked ground beef, spreading it evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Layer the sautéed mushrooms on top of the meat mixture.
